The newly built Carnegie Hall - c.1902.

The building opened in 1902 with a Hogmanay Concert and Dance.  The 'New Year Dance' is now part of village tradition.

Over 100 years on the Hall is still at the centre of community life in the village but for some time has been in need of considerable refurbishment.

The Tarbat Community Hall Group was founded as a Registered Charity in 2003 to try and raise money for the internal modernisation and extension of the building.

Fundraising for the hall is at the centre of most local activities with events including Auctions, Craft Sales, Race nights, Concerts, Dances and Party Plans to name but a few and new suggestions are always welcome.
